Niehku Mountain Villa is truly an unique place. The views from the hotel are spectacular and the building and its history are one of a kind. The staff and the service in the hotel were excellent. They made our stay very pleasant.

L'Icehotel es troba a Jukkasjärvi, al nord de Suècia, i ofereix habitacions completament fetes en gel esculpit del riu Torne, situat al costat. També s'ofereixen habitacions càlides. Clean, quiet, and spacious room, tea corner, wide windows at the corner with forest view. The room is in the small house. Good restaurant in walking distance. Friendly staff, explained to us all about the surrounding activities. Ice museum included in price. Excellent breakfast.

Please note that bedlinen, towels and departure cleaning are not included in the rate of Cottages, Quadruple rooms, Family rooms and dorm beds. All the thing there. I’m not kidding. It’s a wonderland you must be there. Don’t forget to enjoy the sauna for free.

Grand Hotel Lapland is situated in the centre of Gällivare, directly opposite Gällivare Train Station. This area is known for both the midnight sun and the unique northern lights. Exactly what I needed after a few weeks of hiking. VERY comfortable bed, quite room, nice view, good shower, nice sauna with a great view.

Located by Mount Luossavaara, Malmfältens Folkhögskola offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with free WiFi and a TV. All guests have access to a shared kitchen and lounge. It was a lovely experience. You could borrow sledges or games from the reception for free. Restaurant had a buffet and unlimited drinks/dessert with every meal. Super nice. Would recommend it!
