It's a slower-paced city, much quieter than Seville but still steeped in history with lots to see and do and so much good food on offer. It's also very reasonably priced and easy to walk around - but boy was it hot!

As I mentioned in my main review, during the time of our...
As I mentioned in my main review, during the time of our stay, Cordoba Feria was on, so the place was pretty rammed with visitors, especially in the Old Town and Judiah sectors.
Similarly, it was necessary to pre-book restaurants for both lunch and dinner each day as all the decent ones were pretty much full. Also, dining times are a lot later than in the UK, lunch often between 1400 and 1600 and dinner between 2100 and 2330 hours. Interestingly, 90% of bars and restaurants plus a lot of the shops, seem to close between 1600 and 2000 hours, a throwback I think to days of siestas.
Temperature wise, in May it was about perfect during the daytime, in shorts and tee shirts, especially when the sun was out which was most of the time. However a fleece is definitely required in the evenings, especially if dining al fresco.
Had a very pleasant stay, and saw most of what I had intended to, but unsure whether I would be in a hurry to come back, especially given how busy the tourist areas were plus it proved quite a challenge to navigate the narrow streets especially if you happened to get caught up with a guided tour party of which there were many.
Oh, and very few people speak English either so to have a few words of basic Spanish is recommended.

Cordoba is well worth a visit.
Cordoba is well worth a visit. The old town is small enough to walk around on foot and the Mezquita and the Alcazar are amazing. Just walking around the old streets is really special. If you are thinking of going there do it!!

I came for the Festival of Patios and I saw 36 in the week I was there. I saw two flamenco shows in the Plaza, and I visited all the important sights: the Alcazar, the Mezquita, the Juderia, the Puente Romano, and I took a side trip to Medina al-Zahra. I recommend the City Sightseeing Bus for a first-day orientation to the city. It's very easy to get lost there.
I will give 10 points as this is the best hotel on our 3 weeks road trip through Spain! The room is very clean and all bed blankets and towels are of high quality and new. The breakfast is great with many options at best quality. I like very much the fresh salads and coffee. The hotel has own underground parking which is extremely important if you have ever seen how narrow are the streets in the old town. All famous sightseeings in walking distance ca. 10 minutes. It is also dog friendly 😊 perfect for us!
It was one of the best locations in Spain so far, super comfortable furniture (bed and sofa, also a little table for work) inside a room and common space, almost absolutely silent space with relaxing sound of water coming through windows, peace and air conditioning. There was even space for little cooking! Apartaments are located inside a patio in a very peaceful area of Córdoba, quite close to main must-sees, but also close to non-touristic attractions, like very local bars and churches.
Very helpful staff, and friendly. Nice, big comfortable bed. Good shower. Great location, right next to la Gran Mezquita. Underground parking. We ate breakfast out of the hotel on the 1st day, but 2nd day we ate in the hotel. Breakfast good, plenty of choice - cereals, cakes, bacon, sausage, cold meats, cheeses, breads, jams, juice, tea, coffee. Reasonably priced too, in comparison with other Eurostars I've stayed at in Spain. Overall, ideal for a short break.
Extra comfortable big bed felt just like home
Daily full cleaning which made it even more comfortable it was sparkling every day
Best location in Cordoba 3-6 minutes walk to all important attractions
We took the room with mosque view I highly recommend it , it was very nice setting in the room admiring the mosque at night. The room was bigger than pictures bathroom too
Friendly staff
The hotel felt like a 5 star hotel
The view was a courtyard that was used for parties and it was loud sometimes but didn't continue when we slept. The hotel is across the river from the city but walking across the bridge was beautiful.
Garage was easy to park and use the elevator to our room
Linens were nice. And in room fridge was great. You drink a lot of water in Spain.
Very good location for Cordoba Old district - right in the heart of activities.
The hotel is very 'quirky' and has lots of character, as were the bedrooms of course, but facilities were good and comfortable.
Shower in our room was excellent - one of the best on our Spain Road Trip !.
Staff on reception very helpful and friendly
It was a beautiful, cool oasis in the busy city. The owner and his son were incredible hosts —they were helpful with restaurant reservations, taxis, and just general information. The breakfasts were wonderful and included fruit from their personal orchards. It was our favorite place to stay in Spain!
The Apartamentos Casa Del Aceite is a beautiful boutique hotel centrally located in Cordoba. We stayed in the "off-season" and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The receptionist reached out ahead of time to coordinate check-in time and everything went very smoothly. Highly recommend!
The location of this hotel is great, in the heart of Cordoba, right by the Mosque. We had the room with terrace and so we sit a lovely view. The room and bathroom were very spacious and spotlessly clean. I would gladly stay here again.
Staff is very nice, friendly
I loved every thing about this hotel! It’s beautiful, large, peaceful, clean, stylish and luxurious.
The staff are super friendly and nice. The underground baths are so cool and relaxing.
. Everywhere you look is simply gorgeous. A must stay when in Cordoba!
Love the H10 hotels! Wonderful location in Cordoba. Room was a little small but worked fine and was very clean. Breakfast was very good. Was looking forward to their rooftop bar but it was closed due to low temps and some rain. Guess we need to come back!
Location is great just near the Cathedral. If you have car please remember to take room with parking, it will ensure they will save spot for you. The way to reach the hotel with a car is little tricky, so read carefully what the hotel will send you.
This is luxurious hotel located near Plaza de las Tendillas. Great location to walk to sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room. Secure and clean. Best hotel of my 2 weeks in Spain. Also best priced hotel.
everything! from the greeting to the departure the staff were attentive and charming. the room was the best we had while travelling 6 weeks in Spain. location perfect. the pool was a welcome relief from the heat
Location was great really close to main atractions, Cordoba is a really beautiful city this hotel was well locate, breakfast was excelent, people at the frontdesk really nice very clean hotel.
The most beautiful hotel I think I've ever been to in my life. It was quiet, spacious, with great facilities and very friendly staff. I can't wait to come back to Spain to stay here again!
